Over a few beers my mate was joking that I`d be rustling through old newspapers next looking for `2d off Mrs Mentals laudunum liniment` and suchlike :rotfl:and it got me to thinking; `who here recently has tried to use the oldest or bizzarest MOC and how did you get on`?

I have just received this through an e-mail, hope some of you can remember when we joined the kitten club for whiskers, well I put down that my (non existant) kitten was born August 2008. As it is now reaching 10 months old it should be going onto adult food so they sent me this link: -
    http://www.whiskas.co.uk/coupons/AdultPouch50.aspx

Basically for those who joined click on the above link and enter your email address and password, then it should let you print one 50% (£1.93) coupon off. you can also click the button to say that you don't have a printer.

    Many Thanks
    Jules x :j:D

Thanks but i cant remember what email i used to join  :rotfl:

I can see me rummaging thru recycling bins tomorrow and Tuesday in the hope of finding a 31st, 1st or 2nd June Times quick enough to send it all off.

I am so annoyed with myself, I was too busy at work last week to check how many more copies of the Times I needed to buy - thought I had ages but I only have a few days now!

    Back to u - Take note CM :- :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Wow! I had a lot of reading to catch up on! Anyway, I hope you have a great vacation Lori!:D

Well done Jules 1975! This one should really confuse the cashiers when I hand over 2 (kitten & adult) that look the same but are for different products! I get to use the adult one in the 2 Express stores I frequent!!:j

Well don to you, SandDancer, for standing firm and now you have the manager's blessing to use coupons!!:T

m4rtin, I'm not going to be able to find a way to get the Fruit Shoots coupon to work again I'm afraid it's gone for now.:(

Don't know if there was anyone else I was going to respond to except for Mad, Coupon Tilly and Coupon Princess which I just wanted to say :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:!!

    Reply from ecover this morning:

Please accept my apologies for the delay in coming back to you.

We did not intend for the booklet and coupon to be posted online. We
are currently speaking with the people who run this website to have the coupon removed
. It wasn't designed for use in such a way and many
retailers will not accept home-printed coupons any more.

Personally I have resisted the temptation to use this one thus far.....I guess everyone has to make their own choices on this one :o

I used to be able to browse the couponstar site but they seemed to have blocked that now?? (Was useful to see if any new folders appeared! - Do you have any way of browsing it still?)

No. I don't remember how I found the "good" link to the coupon last time, I think it was from going to the site's homepage and following the link from that.

Although it was down to me originally finding the coupon and I admit I have been using it for a couple of weeks, I would definitely advise not to use it any more. I for one will not be using it now that we know for sure that it wasnt meant for internet use. Its really not worth risking couponing as whole, just for 40p!!!

I am definitely not going to use the coupon now as the store probably won't get reimbursed which will make the re-think the coupon policy so for me it isn't worth 40p to ruin things.
