young lad on checkout refused to take no more than 1 coupon  so i kindly explained that he was wrong and i had just been informed by head office , ( he still would not have it ) so i asked him to get a supervisor or manager .
by this time i had a nice line of people waiting to be served giving me the evil eye
supervisor turned up and says the same 1 coupon only , i told her to read my email on iphoneshe then turned round and says i would have to confirm this myself with head office before i can let you do that as our policy is 1 coupon only .
i tried to explain again that i thought she was wrong and i would like to see the manger ( by this time i was bright red and getting a bit peeed off , and the people behind me were giving me daggers)
2 secs later manager turns up and says whats up , supervisor says this man want to use all these coupons as part payment for his shopping , and he says head office say it is ok .
manager says YES THATS RIGHT , SCAN THEM ALL
:dance::dance::dance:
wooohooo , i even had the nerve to say i was not impressed with being treat like some sort of idiot in front of all these people , he says sorry and it wont happen again :T
shopping came to £15.13p , minus 17 vouchers = total to pay £3.13 :j:j
my best shop yet , and more to come
Well done, :T
I rang CS after a bad experiance in a Mr Ts the other day with handing over coupons. They said they would send me a letter stating thier policy on coupons so I could keep it in my bag and show it to SA if needed. :money:0 -
Have found this coupon, but it doesnt have 99 barcode so I dont know where you could use it but probably not Tesco.

I would like to say "Thank You" to everyone for their advice. Since I have found this site it has changed my spending habits.:j0

Save the PDF to your My Documents or Desktop. Open file, click on Tools/Select and Zoom/Snapshot Tool. Drag your mouse over area to be printed. You will see message that it has copied. You have to do this every time but it saves ink. You can also change paper size so you get 3 to a page thus saving paper.
Hey,
Cheers again for that I have used the snapshot tool and agree that the print did actually come out very clear so thats a bonus! However, there doesnt seem to be or i can't find printing options to change settings such as where it prints on page, to reduce paper useage! not to worry will work it out, usually quite good at these things but hey....0 -
I would like to say 'thank you' to those who have so far offered me a Times masthead! :T
Wish me luck, I think once I buy tomorrow's copy I will be ONE short.
I can see me rummaging thru recycling bins tomorrow and Tuesday in the hope of finding a 31st, 1st or 2nd June Times quick enough to send it all off.
If anyone has one of these copies (or certain other dates in May or last week of April) of the Times I just need the masthead and can send mocs as a thankyou for it. Pleeeeeease pm me with the date(s) you have - I would need it v urgently though.
Any other suggestions of where to find last week's Times at short notice, gratefully received. I have a local cafe in mind who may still have last week's papers...maybe the Library but I can hardly rip the header off their stock papers!
I am so annoyed with myself, I was too busy at work last week to check how many more copies of the Times I needed to buy - thought I had ages but I only have a few days now!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I don't have any of the Times, but just wanted to say that if I had you would be welcome to them because you are a fantastic help to us all on here and I really hope that you get the 1 that you need.
I do have a copy of last Tuesday's Mail if anyone needs that for any of the offers in there (was actually tempted myself by the scrapbooking offer, but thought I would be good for once).
Anyway, night night all - sweet dreams (especially you Mad)0 -
