Hubby got trouted last night! I love that phrase:D It's the 1st time and it actually made both of us a bit nervous and paranoid. He'd gone on his own and he'd got a young female SA - and she'd just started scanning his mocs when the supervisor came over and told her to go for her toilet break. She then started looking through the mocs and said that she wouldn't be able to take all of them cos they had changed the policy as somebody had been abusing it cos they had paid a couple of pence for £20 of shopping. So she took £4ish off £18 shop when the system aparently bleeped to say no more. Hubby came home to tell me this - thinking they must mean him cos we've done a few shops paying small amounts of cash - checked my figures and we haven't done a shop for anywhere near £20 paying pence, nearest we've done is about £12 when we've paid only a few pence - so think it must be someone else, but it did make me quite nervous about using the mocs.

So was unsure what to do whether to go in and try and use mocs as normal, go and use less mocs, or go and speak to CS and see whats what. Anyway I decided to ring the store - explained to them how I was using coupons and that I never split shopping or go more than once a day or split with my family members etc - upshot got confirmation that store policy is as national policy and it hasn't changed - got names to quote if there is a problem.

Phew - so why do I still feel so nervous about going in tonight??

    Response from Lovely Lisa:
No need to feel nervous - as you say, you unfortunately got 'trouted' incorrectly. I recently received this email from the Customer Services Manager at Dundee - so it's "official"?.....

    Thanks Lovely Lisa

Lori should we had this one to the front page, as it mentions that barcodes should be typed in if they don't scan?
I know that this has been a problem for some.

    Morning everyone,

No coupon today, just query. Can somebody tell me (if you do not wish to post it on here, you can send me PM instead) does Doncaster Tesco opposite M&S on the main road accept coupons? Do they also accept internet coupons? If yes, how many coupons do they accept? I don't shop in Doncaster but I do travel up for business once every 3 or 6 months to see clients. Thanks.:money:

Hubby has had some bad shops at the doncaster stores but that was a while ago and things do change.. Maybe someone has been more recently and can give you a better guide to whats happening now
