Ahem...I think some peeps may well have made up an email addy or two! But let's stick with proper names (not Mickey Mouse at al) as I see it has already blocked the surname 'Coupon'. Proof that they know mocs are being printed without real details...

they check against the clubcard - if it does not match they will not now take the coupon and I was behind someone the other day who said they did not have a clubcard and the SA, a friendly one not a trout, refused to take coupons stating that they had so much coupon abuse that they no longer take coupons unless they can be sure that the person using it is the same name on the coupon and they can only do that if you have a clubcard  could be a rumour but when the person asked they were told it is going to become national policy to stop abuse and that if you have nothing to hide it will not bother you and that if you do not have a clubcard you can apply for one at CS. SA apologies for any inconvenience but said all SA had been told it is now the policy:eek: in our store and will be rolled out over other stores in the coming weeks - fingers crossed that was wrong
I have heard lots of different rumours about new policy in our store becoming national policy before and posted on here only to be proved wrong so hope it is just my store but they defo are not taking coupon without proof as I saw it happen on another checkout too with friendly SA while I was waiting
I also want to thank you all for your cakes:D and all of your birthday wishes it was very very nice of you all to send me so may many good wishes and I did have a lovely day - thank you all:A

Woohooooo we have just booked our accom for the gfs in Nov. :j:j:j:j:D:D:D:D:T:T:T

Thanks to the info from the op last week we got a Travelodge room with insurance for 3 of us for £10 :T:T:T:T:T:j:j:j:j

We are happy moc hunters today :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

All we need to do now is find a cheap code for the tickets like we did for the summer gfs once tickets are on sale :T:T:T:T:D:D:D:D

Can you post the link again please and how far away is the Travelodge from the show? What day are you going?

If anyone has experience with the Felixstowe Mr T's please could they pm and let me know. Thanks
Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

Here's the link to start the search http://www.travelodge.co.uk/saver_rooms/index.php

We are staying at the one in Wolverhampton which is about 19-20 miles away I think but for a £9 family room plus £1 cancelation insurance I think it's worth it :D:D:D:D

We could have booked a room in one closer to the NEC but they were more expensive :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

We are going during the week and are staying at the hotel on the Wednesday night

After tesco Canock refused to take any coupons from me last week, and were quite rude at the cs till, i emailed dundee to complain.
I just had a phone call from head office to apologize, they will contact the store and re-advise them about the coupon policy, they are sending me a copy of the policy and a £5 gift card !

    Morning all

My local Tesco only accepts newspaper and mag MOC's if you buy the publication - it depends on your store's interpretation of the policy - or if they've been shafted :rotfl:

Went to T's last night and the young male SA on the 10 items or less took more coupons off me than normal, 8 instead of the usual 3 - 5, nearly £11. Only paid £3.30 for some wine on a 3 for £10 and some other bits and bobs. It looks like he was sticking to the 75% rule in my store and not bothering with the restriction on number. I'm not complaining :D
must be like for like with other itmes too i.e. food for food and toiletries for toiletries etc

  • I have a coupon for a free snackpot of beans from the Warburtons site. Was just wondering do I have to buy the product or can I use it like I would any other coupon and it will just knock the price of the beans off.
