Hi NMRUS
Take no notice of some of the people on here who are like me, just jealous.
I would have loved to have gone to the GFS like you did and intend to try and get there next time so I too can get as many coupons as I can carry.
If people think it is wrong to collect coupons in bulk wherever possible then why are they on these boards, when this is the main aim of the forum. To save money by using either printable or manufacturers coupons.
So good luck to you, to sher60 and to everyone else who went to the GFS.
As VC says, its nice to be nice.0 -

While I was in Tescos this evening, I tried to use the Daily Mail £1 off when you spend £5 on fresh meat, fish and poultry(includes pre-packe, meat and fish counters).
I spent £5.34 on sandwich meats for school lunches, and it came up as "insufficient spend".
So just be warned that even Tesco don't think their sandwich meat is "fresh"
I didn't bother arguing the point, since with other MOCS the £25.97 spend came down to 4p anyway:D
I reckon the voucher is for fresh uncooked meat, though their wording is too ambiguous. For me it will be a couple of chickens and a big pack of mince for a tenner.
Hang on though, PC's experience with her chops etc means I'm wrong. Sars.Ageing is inevitable - maturing is optional0 -

he then scanned £15 worth of my coupons , opened the till and handed me £15 cash :j:T:rotfl: and says he was very sorry for the cashiers manner
.
well done Sand, it can all be done nicely,we dont want to be put in the same category as the old trouts at tescos, lets all keep smiling, that will throw em.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Live for today, for tomorrow is promised to no-one.

I got quadrupple trouted today, SA:mad: said no internet unless you buy it, I handed over all my non internet and asked for supervisor:mad: and she backed up the little sqirt, I paid and shuffled off to CS:mad: she said the same, I made the sourfaced moo ring Dundee:mad: they said store discression. I couldn't stand and "discuss" it any longer as she had white goop collected in the corners of her mouth and I couldn't stand to look at it a moment longer :eek::eek:
(she did refund my 10 x £1 off meat after 1st saying I could only use 1, and me vigourously pointing out coupon doesn't state that)
Sorry to hear you had a bad time of it.
10 x £1 off meat vouchers - that's £50 - are you weight training or something!Ageing is inevitable - maturing is optional0 -
