When my parents passed on my brother and I inherited their house which we rented out with a mortgage - fixed 4.74% - another year to go I think.

It's a joint mortgage with mortgage express who are offering to waive early repayment charges.
I had paid off the flexible mortgage on my residence but let the facility so have move most of the mortgage onto that at 1.39% leaving about £1100 - £3 per month with mortgage express.
I know it's a risk putting the mortgage in my sole name but aren't worried.

The question is whether we should redeem the rest of the mortgage express mortgage and reclaim the deeds or not.
Can't see much downside and will make things easier when we decide to change the mortgage in future.

thanks for any comments
