Hi,
Given that there is no such thing as a free lunch - does interest free credit for 4 years actually mean free credit for 4 years??

Be very careful when you sign up for their interest free scheme as I am sure it includes some sort of payment protection plan as we found out when we bought a sofa from them a few years back. We had to go and complain to the manager and threaten to cancel our order. We ended paying for it by cheque when it was delivered.I hate migraines.0

There isn't any obligation to take out the payment protection.
I bought a sofa from them just after Xmas and like everyone else thought that it must be too good to be true - but after asking every question imaginable, it really was free!
My main concern was that they wouldn't set up a direct debit so that I'd "forget" to make the initial payment in a year's time and therefore be in breach of the T&Cs. However, the DD was set up straight away so allayed my concerns.
