  • This will be a piece of crap....basically!

Why buy a cheap pole which is not really fit for its purpose to save money...this is false economy, and thats exactly what this website is against. For me the x-pole is the only way to go as it is robust has both static and spinning options and is actually built to last, and if you get bored of it you could stick it on ebay and get almost as much back as you have paid for it!!!

So cheaper options are...see if you could get a cheaper second hand one on ebay...or go to a local metal worker and get a permanent pole made for your house...only costs around 80 quid, but must be erected as a permenent feature, whereas the x-pole doesnt have to be.

other than that fair enough you could buy a cheap pole which doesnt work and will end up injuring you but hey you will have paid less...lol

They are fine if you dont weigh alot and you are not intending on using it all the time! I personally wouldn't pay more when it is only going to be used a few times on ;) special occassions!!

This has been posted before, around Christmas I think. There seemed to be a lot of interest then, so maybe some bought it then and left comments. Search?

so what your saying is that its a piece of crap, because many people do weigh a lot and most people who buy a pole get hooked really quickly as its such fun and spend ages working on it each day?

A better investment is to buy the real thing in the first place.
