bungle after bungle!!!

Would like to ask for some help please. I am being a bit lazy really as i dont want to trawl through all of the threads. I want to make a claim for compensation to the csa as all through my current case with them they have made sooooo many !!!! ups and I have ended up having to make zillions of calls and give them advice on how to do things and they have basically caused so many delays in getting monies to me, and still not getting the job done properly. Can someone please advise me the correct procedure for doing this. Many thanks in advance

    Hi

Have you submitted an official complaint yet? Have you requested your Data Protection Files?

You need to create a timeline of events, start at the beginning and work your way through to the present day.....this will help when submitting your complaint. If you haven't contacted your MP do so now, make an appointment and go and see them - the CSA certainly improved their response times when they knew I had my MP on board.

Log everything - try to do everything in writing but if you have to make a call make sure you get the dates / times / name of the person you spoke to and keep a record of the conversation.

If you are not satisfied with the outcome of a complaint you have the right to take your case to the Independent Case Examiner (ICE) - in my experience they have been pretty good to date - maybe a little slow, in my opinion, but I appreciate that they now have huge caseloads.

Unless they have made massive errors you won't get a lot of compo - I have received £40 so far and hubby has received £65 - my complaint was submitted in September 2008 and no conclusion has yet been reached.
