    AYUBOWAN

    Greetings from Sri Lanka

Just thought I'd drop by and see what's happening back at MSE.

It's just gone 6pm, I'm sitting by the pool in my factor 30 sipping a passion fruit cocktail.

Wild chipmunks are occasionally taking peanuts from my lefthand as I continue to type with my right.

A Sri Lankan wedding, complete with elephant and traditional drummers & dancers, is taking place on the lawn under coconut palms a few yards away.
The sun will be setting on the horizon shortly.

I'm trying out the Wifi for the 1st time my new Medion Akoya E1210 netbook that I bought at a bargain price (£170 from Sainsburys - courtesy of MSE) just a few weeks ago.

I've just purchased a "Dialog Kit Card" that's giving me a 54M connection for 27 pence an HOUR !! :rotfl:

So all is good with me.

Hope the same can be said for all of you.

    See you soon

    Q

Sounds lovely quoia:D if I wasn't going to Greece next week I'd be very jealous;)The weather here in the UK is pretty grim today. Enjoy the rest of your hols:)

in the 'feels like summer' booklet free from superdrug, there is a voucher on the back page for £3 off 200ml Bio oil. Not sure if you could use both vouchers together (like you can in Boots;)), but it might be worth a try if it has a different barcode. Barcode on booklet voucher is: 9908899913009 :D

Has a different barcode, good news, but also states not to be used in conjunction with other vouchers, as standard. Still worth trying?

The equavision capsules are worth £11.75 per pack I got 4 of them, I also used the macleans £1 off x 2 and it's currently buy one get one free and the Johnsons clean and clear is buy one get one half price so the whole lot came to just over £3! yeah!

Thank you very much nic.cj.. for the tip-off about the Buy One Get One Free on the Macleans toothpaste. This wasn't marked up on the shelf at all in the Superdrug I was in today but I took 2 to the till anyway after reading your post and asked the SA to check it for me and sure enough it was BOGOF.

hiya what are the bingo numbers for? thanks Nic

    Hi, Nic

Sorry it's taken me so long to reply, but I've only just seen your response (it's a shame that we don't get e-mail updates when someone responds to one of our posts; I'll send you a PM once I've finished here). These numbers have nothing to do with Sun Online Bingo; they apply to a gamecard given away in the Saturday edition of The Sun, once every 4 or 5 weeks. The next card is due on Saturday 4th July.

Numbers are printed daily in The Sun from Sat-Fri for one week's play, and any winning claims must be phoned in by 3pm on the Friday of the week in play. The News Of The World also runs a bingo competition every Sunday, and the play grid is printed on the same card that comes with The Sun every 4 or 5 weeks (but winning claims for the NOTW game must be phoned in by 3pm on the Sunday in play). However, the NOTW no.s aren't often posted on this forum anymore; I rarely get a Sunday paper, but I always post the numbers if I get one before 3pm.

Hope that answers your question ;o)
