I got a phone call today saying i won a european break through this site. i have some vague memories of entering my details here. they gave me a reference number and free phone number and said that the holiday offer includes a trip to a european destination and boarding for 7 people.

can't help feeling that it is a scam to get money through additional charges for a crappy holiday. but somehow there was no pressure. they had all my details.

so has anyone heard of them or used them

any advice appreciated

I have had a quick google search and it didnt through anything up. It looks like it is a comps site a bit like !!!!!! etc....

When you call back ask them if you have to pay anything or if you have to go to a presentation or anything. Get as much info as possible ask them to post you confirmation that its all free etc... And trust your gut instinct!!

i do enter comps on getmeaticket,So you could try and email site to ask there i search to see if it says your name as winning.

I remember them being on watchdog for not honouring ticket sales....as long as they aren't for any money from you, or getting you to call a premium number, might be worth checking them out...

I think you're mistaken - the watchdog people were gettickets not getmeaticket. Getmeaticket are a bona fide company

Hello all, please forgive my dodgy techie skills, this is my first post.
Yes, I have heard of getmeaticket and I also was rung and told I had won a holiday. As I had actually entered a competition with them for a holiday and they had all the relevant info about me, I was delighted and I rang the freephone number they gave me only to be asked if I was a married homeowning person between the ages of 16 and 60.
Uh oh! Timeshare sellers! I thought, so I asked the nice sales lady outright and she agreed that yes, I would have to attend a timeshare sales presentation to claim my prize.......
What a bunch of swizzlers! ( not the first name that occurred to me) I complained about the underhand way they were running their business and told her to go and waste someone elses time instead. I will be contacting getmeaticket to get myself removed from their list but in the meantime I wanted to warn other moneysavers about them. I'm not often conned but this one was too close to the truth for my liking.
Sorry to start with a grumpy post, anyway keep up the good work everyone...... love from Jandy PS I know this is an old thread, but I was searching the company name before I rang them so I think this info should be on site.

Yes i won some body fat scales from them. they came from john lewis with a product code looked it up on the john lewis site they were worth £40. they told me i won by email i had to confirm my name and address it took 28 days for delivery

Well, maybe some people won something but for the most part, here's what happens:
- you get a call from them even though you never entered any of their comps
- it's a scam where they ask you to dial a number and you end up paying through the nose to heard you won the right to sit at a timeshare presentation.
- if not the above it's scam anyway. Can be about makeup , anything really.

Whocallsme is choke full of complaints about these jerks.

They are very rude, super aggressive. They call non stop until you pick up, every day. They immediately bombard you with questions like 'are you a homeowner'. It's a complete nightmare.

I hope they get shutdown, and fast.
