nil tax code

just got my letter from moon beaver to start the nil tax code IPA,they ask for 3 wage slips to work out my tax(OR already said it was going to be £47 a month thought I was going to get away with this amount but not now;)) they then say keep sending wage slips in till they say stop.anyone else been on a nil tax code? just wondering if I do overtime at work how would that affect the payments? will they stop asking for the wage slips after a while?

yeah it was just the bit where they say keep sending them in after the first 3 untill they say stop! will they say stop at all or have me sending them in for the rest of the year?and if so and i was to do overtime would that mean changing the payment to them everytime?cos that would be a nightmere to try and keep tabs on,as I was just going to set up a D/D and just forget about it!

they usually say the same to all tbh....they usually will say after a few months "dont bother sending anymore till further notice"

Really depends on the O/T they probably wouldnt bother too much if its a low (ish) ammount

To be honest I sent my wage slips to them every month from May - March as my wage varied each month as I wanted to be as upfront as possible. I must admit I was often late in sending them the slips, sometimes I sent them in a batch (embarassed icon!) but that was with Clarke Wilmott

Sniggings, how long after you signed your NT IPA agreement did Moonbeaver contact you?

I sent back my NT IPA a few weeks ago and am wondering what the next move will be?

    Cheers

When I got my nil tax code I only had to send in the last 3 pay slips, I didn't have to keep sending them in, that was Clarke Wilmott. Maybe it's because I get paid monthly.

about 3 days, they said after they get the first 3 wage slips they will contact me with detals on how to pay.also check to see when and if the nil code has started if it has you best tell them as they will want that money.

If your tax is under £50 they don't usually bother collecting it, they'll get it from HMRC at the end of the tax year.
