No-one works for Nationwide?

We took all our finances over to Nationwide around 5 years ago due to poor service at 2 other banks/building societies. For the past year or so we’ve noticed a decline in service from them too. The final straw being for the last 2.5 weeks we have been trying to get the financial adviser to contact us, when she finally called back I was out so I phoned back and left a message on her mobile like she said – no call back. We’ve tried to speak to the manager, make an appointment with the manager, make an appointment for a Saturday morning – all because we’re are lucky enough to be in the position to pay off our mortgage but no-one gets back to us. DH even went in on Saturday to voice our concerns and get an appointment but was told the financial adviser is leaving and they don’t have the manager’s diary! This morning DH phoned again and is still waiting for his call back 2 hours later.

Arrrgh, this is costing us money. I want to close everything down with them but love their online banking facility, anyone recommend another with good online banking and service etc?

Or graffiti your concerns on their front door, they get back to you pretty quick after that

Smile has a fairly good service. Although I've only been with them for a couple of weeks I find there online system very good and they pay interest monthly!
