Repossession after BR

Well, an update....the ex got sent a form from the lender, which was basivally a Deed of Acknowledgement, she signed it and then left the form for me to sign, for which she told me I MUST sign. But of course Im a bit wiser than that, (with the help of you guys - THANK YOU!) so phoned my OR, well they do have my BI in the house, and most helpful they were. Told me to send the form to them and they will look at the wording, as if it is worded the way the OR thinks it is, this will open the debt again and they wont allow it, must say the guys and girls at Birmingham office are great. Not that can be said for the ex, she is spitting feathers that I have sent off the forms to the OR and not signed them. What made me laugh though, I was warned that if I did not sign them we would both be in the poo-poo, to which my reply was, "Ive been it for a while, no thanks to you":rotfl:
Also got the official court papers, for the repossession that the lender is placing against us both, with a hearing in July...question do I sign the papers sent by the court, which are basically asking for a SOA.Cheers Dibs

Yep. Sounds like those are forms that you should not sign under ANY circumstances. What made me laugh though, I was warned that if I did not sign them we would both be in the poo-poo, to which my reply was, "Ive been it for a while, no thanks to you":rotfl:
You won't be in it! Tis not your problem any more. Also got the official court papers, for the repossession that the lender is placing against us both, with a hearing in July...question do I sign the papers sent by the court, which are basically asking for a SOA.
I certainly wouldn't fill in the SOA part at least. That is only relevant if you want the court to let you keep the house. They would need the SOA to look at your finances and see if you could reasonably afford to stay on, and eventually make up any arrears.
That isn't relevant to you. Not only do you want the property GONE, but the BR has ended your liabilities over it anyway.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Thanks fermi, posted off the form to the OR earlier today for them to sort it out. Wont be filling out the SOA for court, but they have given 14 days notice to get it all done, and sent back to them. TBH as I'm claiming JSA I think its all waste of time, barking up the wrong tree with me. Anyway will keep this uptodate for anybody else that may be in a similar position to see what my out come is.Cheers Dibs
