New uniform at this time of year!

Probably a long shot but does anyone happen to know anywhere I could possibly get some used / very cheap items of school uniform for my daughter at this time of year?!
Basically she is in the middle of exams & has managed to seriously rip her uniform which she has to wear to all exams & revision classes at the mo. I'm reluctant to buy new stuff as she is unsure whether she will return next year or not.
Thanks!

Have you asked in the school office, they sometimes keep spares from ex pupils in case of problems like yours?Well I Love Tv And I Love T. Rex, I Can See Through Your Skirt I've Got X-Ray Spex0

Has she stopped growing yet -will they still fit her in September?0

Get onto your local freecycle and maybe any surrounding boroughs as well. Someone there may have a blazer they could give you.0

Could you tell us which school the uniform is for Ciara?
Someone might be able to help.
Failing that, I'd say the school lost property may be able to help out!

Thanks for the suggestions so far! Has anyone came across any uniforms in charity shops recently too?
It's for Fortwilliam by the way!
Thanks0 -
How about getting her to ask a friend if she has a spare one ( sorry, dont know which bits you need), maybe a friend has a sister who has left school ? Im sure it dosent need to fit too well if its just to wear into exams.Norn Iron Club member 4730

I'd take it to a good seamstress and have it repaired.0 -
Thanks for the idea but unfortunately it's too badly damaged.

Are you absolutely certain about that Ciara_Louise? I've mended very badly torn uniforms for people earlier in the school year than this. Worst case scenario usually involves placing a piece of similar coloured fabric behind the tear and using a close zigzag stitch in the same coloured thread to stitch through both layers then trimming away the excess at the back. If done carefully it's only visible up close.0
