Hi,
Another post from me (it just seems to have sunk in how quickly everything is coming)
I just realised my landy dress should be finished by next week so now Im trying to decide on what to get to go underneath it.
The dress is this one:-

Oooohhh, super frock. Was looking at this one this morn for beading.
1st question. Do you intend to bustle the train for the evening/reception?
With a dress with a train you can get a petticoat that has a small train to allow the dress to keep it's shape when walking up the ailse (although it's not a make or break thing)

Ouch, but you see the effect of a petti with train. If you intend to hike up the train then this will leave the petti exposed so would suggest a normal crinoline style.

Try to avoid hoops if poss. You gat a much nicer look with a full petti than a hoop and nett.
Ps. When your dress arrives, have a look inside to see if it has waist stays. These are like a "ribbon or fabric" belt which will keep the dress at your waist. Strapless dresses should have them really as the weight of the skirt, especially one with a big train like yours, can "pull" the dress down and you will spend the day pulling the bodice up.0 -

Thank you! To be honest I havent even thought that far ahead! lol. I think I am best leaving it until I have the dress and have tried it on see what will be best
Thanks again0 -
You are very welcome. Waiting to see what the dress is like first is a very good idea. x0

Hi Linda,
Thanks again for the advice, now that the dress has arrived I know a bit more what I want.
Im not going to have the traditional 'bustle' but my mum is going to put a loop on the train so I can loop it over my wrist so going for a petticoat without the train. ideally I dont want to spend to much....what do you think of this one?
