I spent approx £20 this included £7 in Farmfoods and the rest was spent on bargains in Boots (things the kids needed though). I gained over £3 worth of advantage points (and they owe me more so I've emailed them).
I went to the building society and enquired as to whether an account I had with my ex was still open. It was so I closed it and got £16.20.Nevermind the dog, beware of the kids!0 -

Wow, it's been an eventful day!
So - Get Well Soon (sicklies), Well Done (non-spenders), Ah Well... (those feeling guilty), Welcome (newbies), hope you're enjoying your drink Ms_London and last but not least - a nerdy cheer
I've had a day in town, so I've gone through some money - but on budgeted presents/food and out of my 'ladies nice things' fund for coffee-housing.

£8.42 in Starbucks
£6.48 in Boots (got raffle prizes, a present, gift bags and all the expensive things in my meal deal - which provided a much-needed drink before setting off home, pudding tonight and a posh wrap for a change from sandwiches for OH packed lunch tomorrow...)
£14.00 in SpaceNK on hideously expensive posh toiletries range because my sister doesn't have a baby all that oftenI will be making her something to go with it!
£2.86 in Tesco (forgot butter yesterday, also carrots and milk and reduced price 'Mother's Day tissue paper')Do I Need One Stops All Unnecessary Reckless Spending£2 CSC - £30 :kisses3:0 -
£7.20 today on petrol.
Here's a tip for using up your coppers - you choose an amount you want to spend on petrol (say £10) then you add up your loose coppers (say 22p). Then you spend £10.22 on petrol instead of £10 - you use up your coppers and they get put to good use, cos you would have bought the petrol eventually anyway.
Do this every time you buy petrol and you'll easily get rid of your coppers!0
