I know the CSA have previously sent him letters etc but as he takes care of the kids so many nights a week he doesn't seem to have to pay anything? I dont think they have actually ever took any money off him not even when he was on jobseekers. He has offered me money in the past but i've allways turned it down as previously me benefits got stopped as someone phoned the fraud line and said i was working, so id rather not have my benifets stopped again, does anyone know if it would be ok for him to pay off say £100 to my credit card each month? surley they cant say anything about that?

Hi today i phoned orange and came up with a pay plan for my last bill (£90.47) they have also lowered my tarriff to £19 month as from next bill, so im going to sell my orange phone and pay the remaining line rental, does anyone know if they can charge me for this?

    Hi Lynne,

They can't charge you for selling your phone but do not sell it until you have paid the remaining line rental and have received a letter from them stating that you no longer have a contract with them (obviously you'll still owe them the money from the last bill).

When you sell it, ensure you take out the SIM card and destroy it. Don't, under any circumstances, let anyone else get hold of your card or sell it with the phone. Orange *should* cancel your SIM which makes it unusable, but I wouldn't take any chances. You don't want to end up having someone else's calls to pay for.

    Hope this helps :)
