The problem I had wa sthat although selfemployed , I had only one contract whic earned £250 per month. My creditors didnt wnat to know as they said , my guranteed income was too low. As I was advised by CCCS to base my figures on guranteed income i did so and offered creditors accordingly.

I now have a full time job. Less then I was earning SE but more guaranteed income so I cna talk more seriousley with the creditors.

Part time work is also a way of increasing income. Also , nowthat the lighter evenings are here , cna you not reschedule the window cleaning to later in the evening . This will give you more scope for part time work. You could do mornings at a supermarket. Courier , school escort runs. There are load sof small jobs around.

My Part time jobs now include

Pizza Delivery (12 hours a week often more)
    Telpehone books (3x a year / £90 a time)
Catalogue Deliveries (As and when required £40 a month)
CV Writing (£10 per CV. Do 3 or 4 a month)

All in all , these part time jobs will add up to £6000 this year. Thats a lot of extra dosh.

COSTCO are at Lakeside but also all ove rthe plae. https://www.costco.co.uk

And finally. Now its getting warmer , plan days trips to the country to go walking , take a book and a picnic. Relaxing , can be romantice and cheap. My girlfriend is non materialistic. I am lucky , but we often go to the kent countryside. Sandwichs , fruit , some water and soft drinks , camera and books. Huge blanket and kill a day easy. Just lay there , catch some sun and relax.

As for the charity. I know its what you believe , but the creditors may not understand this. Is there no way you can offer ot clea there windows in lieu. Charity starts at home , and any sharity will help its members if they explain. I am sure fo that.

The charity is our religion (the group we belong to) and is taken through gift aid, so comes off our tax bill. We (voluntarily) see it is a duty to give something to it and have reluctantly reduced it to the current level.

Of course you are right to do this, if you feel you should, but why not can it temporarily? You can always pick it up again when you are back on your feet.

    Any understanding religion will... understand...

    Good luck... :)

I know this is an obvious one, but have you chucked out/ recycled your catalogues. Bluntly, this is a recipe for trouble when you are skint and cant go out and just casually flick through and go oh look thats only 1.50 a week. Quite frankly if you have them there you have temptation in your way. I have a redoute one, ( ive not bought anything from catalogues for some years after getting into the mire with them) and they are constantly sending "offers" 15 off your first order, free bag/suitcase/ blanket etc. Now I dont even open these and stick them in the recycling.
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast
