The Bank incorrectly ruined my credit score

Hi guys

The Woolich/Barclays put a default on my credit history for a 'phantom' overdraft that I never had while at uni. After much contact with Experian, the bank, the financial regulator...I finally got it removed and a letter to say they had made a mistake.

However, my credit score is now really poor as this did not change after the default was erased. If anything, it has only got worse due to credit card applications which have been turn down due to my lack of credit history etc!

Is there any way I can correct my score to reflect this, or to hold the bank accountable for what has happened?

Any advice would be gratefully received....
