hi, i worked in my old company for 13 years are now looking to go to canada as i have been offered a job being unemployed for 17 months,can i at 44 claim my work pension to cover my mortgage here in the uk cos my mum lives there

No, the minimum age you can draw your pension is 50/55 but it depends on the particular scheme rules but in any case (unless you are at death's door) at 44 you can't take it.0
