Think i'm about to have a lightbulb moment...

Hey all, been coming on this site quite alot but never posted on the forums before...

Decided that i'd post here in the debt free wannabe for some support!

The debts have been gettin a bit out of control and now I've decided that something really has to be done bout it... was hoping that I could get a bit of support/advise here....

Currently it stands roughly at this....

Bank Loan £5500
Egg CC £150
Virgin CC £900
Overdraft £600 and £600(interest free)

Total approx. £7750

I think one of my biggest problems was trying to pay off too much off both my credit cards (£300 a month) before the 0% ran out concequently forcing my non-interest free overdraft up...

Was thinking bout consolidting it all into a new loan, egg are goin on bout some good rates until march 31st... i'm a bit worried bout credit tho due to moving house/jobs fairly recently....

Any advise/ideas greatly recieved... thanks

  • Hi there
Welcome to the DFW forum. There are loads of folk here who will help you and offer support, the first thing to do is to post a full statement of affairs, to include what you all your incomings and all your outgoings, plus interest rates etc...
Please don't consolidate without taking real stock of your situtation, I have done that twice and the debts just carry on further up...
