in Cutting tax
I wonder if somebody can advise if OH has paid the correct income tax for the tax year 2008/2009
OH had 3 different jobs during the tax year and a rebate.
Job 1 - Tax Code 543L
P45 showing total pay of £2641.28, total tax of £256.20
Job 2 - Tax Code 543L
P45 shows total pay in employment of £332.50, tax in employment £0
NOTE - This was a job for 1 week on the payslip for week 21 it shows a tax refund of £101.00
Job 3 - Current Job - Tax Code 603L
P60 shows total pay in employment of £9842.53, tax in employment £1200.20
The P60 has the following total taxable pay of £12816.31 and total tax of £1355.40
Can somebody please confirm if the numbers are correct

yes his tax overall was correct
total earnings were 12816
first 6039 is tax free leaving 6776 to be taxed at 20% which is 1355 approx.
his actual tax was 256 - 101 + 1200 = 13550
