question about signing on and travelling costs

Options
I was wondering do people who dont have a jc in their town and have to travel to sign on get their travel expenses paid, or are they expected to take it out of their JSA. Curious. Thanks.

My mother asked this recently as she has to travel into another town to sign on, and was told that if it was under £4, she'd be responsible for paying it herself. Which is a bit unfair if you ask me!
Owing to financial constraints, the light at the end of the tunnel has been switched off until further notice. :(

Woah that is very unfair especially about the under £4 thing.

I thought all towns had a Job centre?
