Ideas for nursery graduation present

I know it seems a little far fetched but my little girl is leaving nursery this year and going to school and I'd like to mark this day with a little thing for her. Has anyone got any good ideas ? I thought about a book as she loves reading but was also looking for recommendations.

thanks in advance

I think a book's a great idea. When my DD finally learnt to skip (aged 7, and not the rope type of skipping IYKWIM!) I bought her Rudyard Kipling's Just So Stories, and wrote a special message in it to mark the occasion.
She'll be 21 this year and still has it. :)

Just realised how daft that sounds, but she had difficulties with co-ordination due to weak ligaments - so it was a really big deal for her!
some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it :)

What a lovely idea! What a lucky little girl to have such a thoughful Mum! I think a book is probably the best way forward to - maybe you could look at getting a personalised one to make it a bit different. Or you could make a little memory book by putting together some photos of her friends and carers at the nursery and paintings etc she's bought home? Whatever, I'm sure she'll treasure it!

I agree with books being a thoughtful minding.
In my case, my parents bought me a bound book of "What Katy Did" stories after I had a stay in hospital.
They had written a special message inside about me being a brave little girl - I still have it 33 years later!!
