    Unusual for me to have to go shopping on a Sunday but it wound up that way.

    £10.04 on groceries (includes coffee costing £4.12 that nets me £4.00 in deals)*
    then changing my mind for about the fourteenth time I bought flowers totalling £11.96, half for Mum, half for me.

    *Price of the luxurious seeded Warburtons that I buy as a treat when we will definitely use every bit had gone up by a scandalous 7.2% from £1.25 to £1.34. :eek:

    £12 (from £2 club) for a ticket to see an afternoon musical performance with OH & OH's Mum for Mother's Day. It was lovely - and I am so glad I had been saving £2 coins so I didn't need to go to the cashpoint!!

    Going to try for a no spend tomorrow!

  • Hey everyone,

    Nothing! Yay! First no spend day of the week!

    I even went out of the house with someone else's money today (the guy I was babysitting for - to buy his kids a treat when we went to park) but didn't buy anything for me, just for the wee ones!

    MBNA = £4,000 / Next = £925 (approx. tbc on 19/8)
    Tesco = £2,910.11 / Smile overdraft = £500
    Bank of Scotland = £2,782.83

    Not a penny! I only started to really browse these forums earlier this week. I now plan to do my food shopping once a week and avoid the temptation to buy things we don't need!

    I was on track for a no spend day today, however, the BOGOF chicken in Tesco's got the better of me as I was driving by, plus I really wanted to get a microfibre cloth after the raving on the OS boards.

    So, 4 chickens for £5.98 and a 3 value pack of microfibre cloths for 89p.

    The cloths are brilliant and so quick to use! The chickens are much bigger than the normal ones I buy in S'burys and I have a houseful for lunch on Easter Sunday, so 2 for then and the other 2 for normal alternate weekly roast/sarnies/curry/sweet'n'sour.

    Still had 4 no spend days last week.

    New week starts Monday for me.
    Back on the DFW Wagon:

    CC - £3,300 on 0% til 04/2020
    CC - £4,500 on 0% til 02/2019
    Loan - £12,063.84 as at 4/1/18

    Ever wonder about those people who spend £2 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backward.
