Being sued by mortgage broker??

Agree with Dunston.
One thing though, although they might owe the broker a fee, that does not stop them for claiming the insurance was missold as it was not suitable in view of thier budget, and that cheaper options were not recommended.0 -
Assuming cheaper options were available to the broker or IFA!"Banking establishments are more dangerous than standing armies." Thomas Jefferson

Legal & General tied reps are the biggest abusers of the commission offset. Indeed, its not even Customer agreed remuneration. They just try to claim back 100% of the commission. Total abuse of TCF and they never have any fee agreements to back it up. In those cases, you just raise a complaint and go to the FOS if necessary. If it was an L&G rep then pricing is not cheap anyway as they are more expensive than IFA or indpendent mortgage adviser pricing.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
