    Yeah!!! Well done!
  • Excellent news! Hope you are planning something nice with the money (at least a little treat for all the grief caused)

Going to take my Mum and Sis out to dinner, cos when I have been short and the lads needed something, they lent me the money and then when I would try to repay they refused.

    I have the best family

in the same place rottie! i'm gonna get my first payment after 10 and half years - its gone out of his wages - just got to be forwarded to me!
Back down to earth - he's already told DS he's packing up his job as its just not worth him working just to give it all to me!?!
still hasn't taken away the excitment of actually getting some money finally!

Well done Lib, if he gives up his job he is cutting off his nose to spite his face cos he wont get benefits for 6 months
I always knew my ex wouldnt give his job up, cos he likes a certain standard of living.
He has told ds1 he was going to start putting £100 per month in his account and cant afford it now cos of the csa:rotfl:

do we share the same ex rottie!?! mine did exactly the same - no more money to the kids coz of the csa - wouldn't mind if they had had more than £200 'pocket money' between them in the last 10 1/2 years! the lovely man thinks he will not actually 'give up' his job - but purposely get sacked so he will get benefits!?! don't know whether this is true and i don't care - he is either skint or paying me or leaves the country to avoid it all again - win, win, win!!!
  • Cant be the same ex, mine never gave the kids money to start off with. Ex only said that to ds1 cos he mentioned in passing that he needed some new gear for college and was going to work a few more hours
