What's the deal?

Discount gaming website Shopto.net is now offering 12-month Xbox Live subscriptions for £28.95 (Usual price £40).

Instead of being posted out, these subscriptions are delivered directly into your shopto.net account as a code, which you tap into the Xbox 360. Thus, the process takes two minutes instead of two days.

How to get it:

Just click the link below and add the product to your basket. if you haven't got a shopto account you'll need to set one up. Once you've paid, click My Account and then the Codes tab to retrieve the code.

Same price (well, 4p dearer!) but you can pay by Paypal, Google and Moneybookers and Xbox code is sent immediately in the same way as above.

No connection with the site, which I found via Google.

Did you get a reply or your code yet? I got a reply saying I'd purchased a code recently and why was I buying a new one so soon? I haven't had xbox live for years so not sure what that's all about.....

I replied saying I hadn't had a code from them before but no reply as yet. I have a bad feeling about this.....

I agree, not so instant, I got the same email as above but I'm not going to give any transaction details, why should I?! I thought the whole point of paying via PayPal was so that you wouldn't need to do things like that. I'm betting they reply asking for card details etc.

If this is some kind of scam, hopefully PayPal should cover us????

I have bought an xbox live code from here before and it worked perfectly fine. It took about 24 to 48 hours to get it sent though email and that was at christmas time so you should get your code. It was an attachment of the scanned card in the email. Hope everything goes through fine for you xx

Code arrived via email at 09.30pm, there was no attached file of a card tho. Husband entered the code and it worked perfectly.

Not exactly instant, but it works.
