hi all,
Today life got just that little bit better
I had an account with British Gas and to cut a long story short, it was in dispute due to their error but never acknowledged it and kept asking for payment, in the end they defaulted me twice. I only noticed this when checking my credit file, i'd had no written warning.
I posted on here asking for help as i cannot get any credit when previously i've had a good score. 'Never in doubt' kindly wrote me a letter, I sent it to head of complaints and today received a personal telephone call with an apology, it should never have happenend, the defualts will be removed straight away and a cheque for £40 (the amount in dispute!)
really pleased and if anyone else can benifit from this, my letter is on Credit Cards---Sutton's Default templetes thread.
