Mortgage and survey

Hi there, hope this is the right place!

Just a quickie to ask what the timescale is from applying for a mortgage and getting a date for the survey

Very open question. Each company is different. Average timescale can range from less than one day to one week. Worse case I have seen is two weeks.

You can call the bank and tell them you want to get the survey done pronto. I had them instruct the surveyor to get the survey done even before we filled in the mortgage application forms.
