I would also start marking now and go in tomorrow - if you are off sick, the observation will be re-arranged and you might feel worried about it all over again
I have mine on the 15th. It's a double header - annual observation with 1 person with someone else attending to observe my use of E+D within my course/course paperwork etc."Stay Wonky":D

Do the marking tonight!!!
Can I just say, from a parents point of view, it annoys the doolally out of me when the teachers set work, moan when it's not in on time and then don't bother to mark it....if there's no marking and feedback the kids don't know what's going on.
