did you go to the abandoned village? That is an excellent place, not been for years. Again though, that car park gets packed in the summer - lots of people walk along the cliff top to Warbarrow Bay. I went there in the early 90s and got very scared about one section I had to walk along which was right on the edge _pale_

And of course it would mean driving there - that's miles outside my comfort zone ie outside Poole :o
Oh ok, IM not doing very well for suggestions am I BB, sorry :( It is the village that was bought by the MOD in 1943 for secret training in preparation for D-Day. Its quite fascinating really.

    Right question: Do I:

    A. Go to Looe for Fish and Chips and sit on the harbour wall
    B. Go for a Maccy Ds then go Plymouth Hoe

    What do you reckon?

it is an excellent place Len - I was part of a film production team many years ago making a documentary about D-Day in Dorset and we interviewed a chappy up there about Radar - lots of the initial testing of radar systems were done there.

Fish and chips sat on a wall everytime :D

She has been driving herself insane since January trying to pay off her debts and run a business but has eventually admitted defeat - due to interest and charges she owes more now than she did in January! She is getting nowhere and can't answer her phone and was getting seriously stressed......unfortunately she only has eyes for her very big builder husband...:rotfl:

Well done her on making that decision.
I can identify with the situation (apart from the builder hubby!) and hopes she feels better for making it. Demons faced are less frightening than demons avoided.
Wish her luck from another trader!
