    Ok well, you know I've been looking for a new gig since I can't do my old one anymore. Well, I was looking through the list of courses starting with M at the Uni, thinking there might be something music related that I could fancy doing.

    But I found something else and thought, hmmm I actually quite fancy that. So I applied directly thinking they'd tell me to sod off and stop being so silly. I spoke to the admissions woman on the phone for ages and she asked what I'd been doing before. So I sent her over my CV which is obviously full of music stuff and completely unrelated to the course. She called back and asked why on earth I wanted to do her course and I pretty much said it was on the list beginning with M :D

    Anyway she invited me to an interview thing which I had yesterday, maths and english test plus presentation and interview with a panel. I thought they were only inviting me to satisfy their curiosity. But you'd never believe they've only gone and offered me a place.

    So, as of september I will be a trainee midwife
