hi
i dyed my hair at xmas brown all over with blonde streaks but after a while it turned a ginger blonde - did not like it,
it was in bad condition gone dry and a bit frizzy even through i used tigi and mop products esp 4 highlighted high
anyway to cut along story short yesterday i went to hairdresser and i asked for a permanent brown col i just wanna go bk to my natural hair colour which is a med brown
any way the colour is a shade too dark 4 me making me look washed out i dont wanna dye it again as my hair has been under enough stress ,is there any tips anyone knows or inside info from hairdressers that i can use to fade my hair a shade lighter so i dont look like mortica adams. lol
some1 told me head and shoulders or washing up liquid was good, is that true???
or has some1 got a better tip
cheers

I've recently tried to go for a dark brown colour, which turned out to look very black (i did the colouring myself) - my hairdresser suggested I use Head&Shoulders to fade the colour 1 shade lighter... didnt actually try it as after a day of getting used to the new colour (and lots of compliments from work colleages) I decided to leave the colour as it is.
would suggest using H&S rather than washing up liquid (would think this could be too harsh on your hair, whereas H&S would contain conditioner as well)
