Charges for using agencies??!!??!!

  • Unfortunately I was pulled in by Fort Chapard who made many promises about knowing people in my career sector et. I coughed up over £3000 pounds and spent an hour every two weeks with a woman who had no idea about my sector but was convinced she could get me a job. She gave me duff advice on my CV which I reverted back to mostly its original state. You attend a seminar were they rubbish actual agencies (that another bunch of time wasters). When I questioned them, their approach and inability to provide results they threatened me with legal action. What I did learn is that you, yourself are the biggest expert in your sector and simply research and find the employer you want and head for the top person. My experience was not worth £3000 plus. In the end its my own network and their recommendations that got me another job.
