Hi all,
I currently have a RBS current account which operates fine - very happy with their on line banking and try to save money in Intelligent Finance as I wanted to set up different 'pots'. However currently transferring money across seems to take a long time
- four days to appear in IF account and then another 3/4/5 days to show as cleared money. The rate on IF is 2% isaver. Anyone know of another account like this with a similar rate of interest that operates on the same speed as the main banks? I transferred some money to my daughters LLoyds account and am told it will be there tomorrow and is available straight away. Don't mind the date to transfer the money from my current account but do mind not being able to access it for a further week or so!
Thanks
Thanks

Instead of creating pots, have you ever thought of creating just a simple spreadsheet which has the pots, and then a single savings account?
So one savings account: £2560
Spreadsheet:
Car - £60
Holiday - £1000
House Repaits - £1500
Just an idea!0 -
You need a savings account that accepts faster payments - try:
Tesco 2.25% (FP in and out)
ING 2.75% (FP in only)0 -
I use Nationwide and you can set-up many e-saving accounts, I've done it a few times when I wanted to keep track of different things.0

Unfortunately, while Nationwide's e-Savings accounts used to be quite good, their standard rate is currently only 0.45%.MissMuppet wrote: »I use Nationwide and you can set-up many e-saving accounts, I've done it a few times when I wanted to keep track of different things.
The e-Savings Plus accounts offer 2% but only when 3 withdrawals or less are made per year, otherwise only 0.10% per year.0 -
Thank you all for the replies. Not sure I'm good enough at spreadsheets but might give it a go!
