Am I Heading in Right Direction??

Oh by the way, I forgot to say, yes the water is high isn't it?
I have fitted a water saver device to the cistern though, I am trying to take shorter showers and wash my hair every other day (got quite long, curly hair which takes some shampooing & conditioning let me tell you! :rotfl: ) and OH ususally showers too so baths are hardly ever taken.
I used to be pretty obsessed with cleaning and would use gallons of water I'm sure just to clean the kitchen sink! However I have been re-educated and my OH is far from obsessed with housework (surprised? :rotfl: ) so it has helped me calm down a bit so I think that will be having an impact when the water meter gets read next.
I only wash full loads and put it on the most economic cycle possible. My tumble dryer is a condenser dryer so it uses a bit of water to flush the condensation away every 2 minutes or whatever it is - I have started to cut right back on using the dryer now though, only when an emergency...line drying is free!! Luckily I live in quite a dry county.
So yes, steps are being taken to drive down the water bill.
Thanks though!Bank Balance: In the black for the moment.
Sainsburys Loan: Cleared July 2010
Credit cards: AMEX Airmiles Card: direct debit set to clear balance monthly
