Do overdraft charges count as bank charges?

Dear All,
I have held an overdraft with the same bank for many years, only recently I have begun to stay within the overdraft agreed limit. Previously incurring alot of £25/£50 charges. I recently read Martins tip on reclaiming bank charges although he was talking about direct debit payments, do overdraft charges apply?
Thankyou.

Hi Mistique
I'm not an expert but I understand that you can claim for the charges (i.e. if ypu are charged £x for going over your agreed limit) but not interest charges.
This site is really helpful ref bank charge info: http://www.bankactiongroup.co.uk/
