Evening all ,
I have recently bought a tent but needs the bits and bobs to go along with it like a cooker , pots and pans , camping kitchen , folding table and chairs etc.
Does anyone know any cheap retailers online?
Thanks

I don't know abuot online, but we always got ours from the local Army & Navy stores at a fraction the price of camping shops.
Just had a quick look for what was the best one back then, and it appears they're on eBay now, so maybe worth a look - http://www.anchorsupplies.com/. They sell everything from a tin opener to a tank (yes, they have actually sold tanks)DFW Nerd no. 884 - Proud to [strike]be dealing with[/strike] have dealt with my debts0 -
Halfords currently having a bit of a sale on camping equipment including BOGOF on chairs and discounts on tables and other items.
Argos have good selection also. Great if you are close to store as you can reserve online then check product in store before buying.0 -
tesco superstores have a camping range which are v reasonably priced. decathalon is pretty good too.http://www.decathlon.co.uk/EN/cooking-accessories-691843/
if you get to love camping whether it's just the two of you or with a family, and you have a car, then invest in a decent tent. get a waterproof rug, good 2 ring stove with calor gas, ehu coolbox, torch/headlights/mozzie stuff, bench and plastic crockery.
i'm just a backpacker so w/o a car, everything i buy i always consider the weight of everything and generally my gear is usually top-end of the market unfortunately.0 -

Online, it would have to be either ebay, Millets: I've had good stuff from both. Alpkit are fantastic people but only do s/bags, mats and a few other items. I detest Tesco, so don't even bother with them.
You can pick up a decent gas single burner from Blacks or suchlike for around £20, but a Trangia single burner stove is a good long term piece of kit (£50 ish). For longer stays or families or car camping, buy a Royal Double Burner with Grill, £55ish on ebay. Luxury!0
