4k debt ringing me up after 6pm tonight..

Options
Hi, i dont know where to start so forgive me if this comes out muddled!

I owe HSBC £3k in overdrawn money and £1k on a card..ive owed this since june 07 and have stuck my head in the sand and ignored it since then..i started doing Avon work a few moths age, only did it for a couple of months and it didnt work out so i stopped..they have since sent me 4 necklaces and a bill of £60. I have rang them and asked what the £60 is and have not been told, but from what i can tell theres a £30 letter sending charge..i also told them to pick the necklaces up as they are £20's worth..that makes £50 so i only owe them £10! Anyway a debt collection rang earlier and the DP put me on the phone, i told them i didnt even knw what the money was exactly for, so they said they would send a breakdown and that was that. 10 mins later HSBC 's debt people rang and said they knew i lived here as the Avon people had just told them, but DP said i wasnt here til after 6pm..so they are ringing me back. Now around a year ago i went to CAB and asked fpr help, thye wrote to HSBC and offered £10 a month as it was all i could afford, they said no and my help ended there! I also owe DWP for an old social loan which im to pay £5 a week back on and council tax and rent from my old address, which im still ignoring as they havent found me yet..Now my situation is a whole lot worse! I earn £90 a week and get £140 a week TC and £20 a week CB..my partner is self employed and made a loss of over £3k in the last year so he has no income. So my £90 wages and £50 of TC go to him..leaving £120 a week to me...to pay for mine and my 7 yr olds stuff in the week..and to get ready for the new BABy. Basically i get my money on a weds and by Fri im skint. Ive looked at the SOA forms and they want rent/tax/etc amounts but i dont pay them, he does as its his house and name on bills etc so on paper it looks like im getting more that i am. .i just dont know what to say to the HSBC people when they ring and what to give them. DP reckons they will now ring me constantly and harass me. i just cant see the light at the end and i really dont know where to go from here. Sorry if this is a mess, cant think straight at the mo! I know ive got myself in this i dunno how to sort it out though so any help/advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi! First start with reading this: http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/loans/debt-help-plan

Then put up a Statement of Affairs (SOA) by filling in this form:
http://www.makesenseofcards.com/soacalc.html so we can give you some advice. :)
Whatever you give to you DP for rent/bills etc put in to the SOA, you are paying towards the bills after all.

You my want to look at the website for Consumer Credit Counselling Service (CCCS)
    http://www.cccs.co.uk/

They may be able to help...

    Hope that's a start.

Also, when HSBC call. Tell them that you will only accept correspondence by letter. They are not allowed to harrass you by phone. If they do continue to ring you make a note of the date and time of all calls, and if possible who you are speaking to so that you can make an official complaint if you need to.

    Laura :)
