Dear all,
Has anybody got knowledge of the intestacy rules in Germany?
The father of my friends lives in Germany, and has done so for many years - I understand he has residency there. He is married to a German lady. He owns property in German (jointly with wife) and a small parcel of land here in England (sole owner).
He has not written a will. He is ill and is now in a hospice. My friends would like to know want the process would like to be if he passed away intestate?
Thanks for any information.
John
