You right, for !!!! sake you would think making sure you have an income whether thats from benefits or a job was kind of a priority otherwise how the hell will we pay rent, bills etc. Guess what he has been doing this morning...sorting out his bloody bike insurance claim, something that he could do in the evening...im so mad I could cry at the moment. Taking DD out to a friends this afternoon before I kill him...maybe I should take out life insurance first
Playing complete devils advocate here...but I wonder if he feels really overwhelmed by it all (being made redudant etc) and is doing something that he feels *able* to cope with as a starting point perhaps??
Maybe you could sit down tonight and talk about strategies for applying for benefits etc and show him what needs doing first, he might just want a bit of help but not want to ask you for it??
