How depressing to spend the most part of your salary on debt!!

You've taken the most important step already fella and are facing up to the fact that you have a problem. So well done already ! One idea to reduce your outgoings must be the obvious one from where I'm sitting is your rent...I was paying about £400.00 a month until 2 years ago and is probably the reason I'm in just a bad a stae financially as you seem to be. I applied to a house association and got a flat from them and this cut my rent from £400.00 to £220.00, are there any near to you? another option if you have the space is flat/house share I know its not ideal but it won't be forever and I know its not for everyone..I tried it and it didn't work I prefer my own space hence the move to housing association property. You can get yourself fast up the ladder by going to the docs and asking for a letter stating due to your finacial situation your are under undue stress and anxiety, which from your posting sounds not far from the truth anyway so you're not doing anything under hand. Reading your posting was like reading about myself..making excuses not to go to birhtday parties, hide away on my own at Christmas and family dos etc so remember you're ont on your own There are thousands of us out there. At least we have all found one place on here to come for help, advise and support. Let me know how you get on fella and good luck.
