Asda refuses all Internet coupons

Hi, After printing off a few on-line coupons in colour and on stiff white card Asda refused all my coupons (4) even though I had bought two of the items. They said that they did not take any Internet coupons. I am sure that I read that other Asda stores do accept them. This one was in the Leicester area.

Asda at Minworth will not accept internet coupons either, I tried to use one a few months ago and it was refused

Asda Trafford Park haven't been accepting Internet coupons for a good few months now too.

Asda in plymouth used to accept them and now they have said there has been a national memo saying internet coupons not allowed even if buying the product.

Print a coupon off and send back to manufacturer (eg Birds eye or who evers product it is) and say the problems you have had in Asda with them. they should send you a proper coupon in exchage for it. This happened with a slimfast coupon i had and i wrote directly to them. it might be worth writing to head office asda and asking them to explain why they wont take them.

The Asda in Ashton under Lyne takes them - you just have to be 'savvy' and pick your till operator with care.

I always pick the younger lads (if possible) who look totally bored, and if they say they're not sure if they can accept them, I normally tell them that I had no problems here last week.....

So far, I've not had any refused. Worst was when they would only take 10% off my bill.....

Plus my local Morrisons and Tesco take them too.

Asda must be reading this thread. Tipton not now accepting internet vouchers.
