Hi has anyone tried this and was it any good. There have been 3 of these opened near me in the last few weeks but is it worth the hype. ?

Really what i wanted to know was do you lose weight on it as im doing slimming world at the moment and have come to a bit of a stop was wanted somthing extra to give me the kickstart again. Thanks Pastures for the link as well, didnt realise it was a lesson free to start with so i will definately give it a go. A few of my friends have started going in the last couple of weeks so they cant really tell results yet, if any. If i can wobble away a few pounds then id be over the moon, x

Looks like a Power Plate machine, which they have at my local gym (Virgin Active). You do exercises on a vibrating plate. Apparently they intensify the effects of the exercise you are doing on the plate eg squats/situps/lunges etc. My friend thinks they're great, but personally I don't like them much, I feel slightly nauseous while I'm on it and my brain feels like it's shaking inside my head!
