Your best bet is to shop around as you will normally find the cover cheaper elsewhere - some lenders may charge a small fee if you do not take this with them however so read the small print of your mortgage offer letter or check the illustration you have been givenI am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it. If you go through Quidco, you'll get £65 if you buy a home insurance policy through Zurich.
And Zurich were (the last time I looked) v-e-r-y competitive on price anyway. You'll always miss 100% of the shots you don't take - Wayne Gretzky

If you take out Halifax insurance online you get a 20% discount. I've found their prices for contents & building extremelly competitive, never had anyone beat them yet. So whilst you're shopping around do give them a try.The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0
