We've gor 3 TV's in bedrooms (my 2 daughters and ours) and have a booster aerial already and was wondering is there anyway we could use our Sky dish to boost the signal,we're not after Sky in any of the bedrooms just to boost the Freeveiw signal.
Currently at best it's intermitent in 2 bedrooms and non-existant in the other, the aerial booster works for analogue ok-ish weather depending and the booster we have is a digital one.
Many thanks in advance for all replies

The sky dish is pointing towards a geostationary satellite 19.2degrees SE, even if you turned the dish to point at the local tv transmitter, there are other technical reasons why it would not assist with what you are trying to achieve0 -
Big thanks DUTR for the quick reply
ah well ,the thought was there, guess this means another booster :think:Tuck Fescos0 -
Sounds to me like the aerials not setup correctly (or a problem with the wiring)
For the best setup you need a good quality ROOF aerial using decent cabling (There are various grades):idea:0 -
If you have three separate freeview boxes, you can use a booster on the main incoming aerial and then use that to feed the freeview boxes.
I've done this for my in-laws and it works perfectly (and the booster they bought was only around £15).:wall: Flagellation, necrophilia and bestiality - Am I flogging a dead horse? :wall:

I think you find it is at 28.2 degrees which is the Astra 2 satellite. 19.2 degrees is Astra 1.

Depending on the size of the "knock", you could have damaged the internals. If you can borrow one as a test, I would do and then you'll know the source of the problem.:wall: Flagellation, necrophilia and bestiality - Am I flogging a dead horse? :wall:
