We bought from Mervyn Stewart at Boucher Road nearly 4 years ago. Easy enough to deal with and no problems.0

Bought from both Mervyn Stewart and Seres (not sure if they still have a fiat dealership) Stewart was easy to work with, offered extras and came well down on price to seal a deal and gave more than he should have for the trade in. I used to sell cars so have a bit of a gift of the gab for it, dont go in all bird mouthed and take the first deal they offer you. Last Fiat i bought for the son i gave Bob Mullans the spec and he got me an import from the South for well under what a dealer could match with the same warranty. Only slight problem is the speed is in kph not mph which is a !!!!! in the 30 mph zoneWell I Love Tv And I Love T. Rex, I Can See Through Your Skirt I've Got X-Ray Spex0

Dealt with Mervyn Stewart and no problem when buying or trading in for another Fiat. The problem arose when we tried to sell the Fiat. No one wanted it ( it was only 3 years old and in perfect order, low mileage etc). Had to sell it back to Mervyn Stewart and they gave us very little for it. Left a bitter taste in the mouth. Would never buy Fiat again.Member #7 SKI-ers Club

Fiat cars have poor depreciation for a good reason, some of them fall apart after about 4-5 years
(The only possible exception is the new Fiat 500? which is holding its value well because of very little discounting of the new price)

Our Fiat is almost 4 years old and the only problem we've had with it was just last week - starter went. Cost £140 to fix and that was including £35 call out/towing fee to get it to the garage, parts and labour which seemed reasonable to us.
We really only went for the Fiat because we had very specific needs about the size of the car and the Fiat was really the only one that had a model that suited our needs. However, from our experience to date, I wouldn't hesitate to buy another. In fact, I'd love a little 500 or a Panda as a runaround for myself but don't need a second car at present.0 -
