    Just to update this thread, I passed my motorbike test first time this afternoon in Dill Road. :j :dance:

    I ended up using RTS in Prince Regent Road - £35 for a lesson (1hr 30mins long or so) including the bike hire and all the kit.

    Instructors are friendly and patient - maybe not as structured as a private lesson, but had 6 lessons in all and the tests starting on Saturday 6th June. Would recommend them to anyone who is looking to learn to ride in the Belfast & surrounding areas.

    I LEARNED TO RIDE... had plenty of lesson and completed it over 2 weeks... shouldnt be a problem.

    i passed my test in 5 days. couldnt turn a bike on beforehand and a week later i have a full licence and a ducati superbike! happy times.(3 years ago now, when i was 23)
    500 quid it was for a 4 day intensive course, 8 hours per day. including test (thanks to a misprint on their advert).
    im on a bike forum called https://www.ducatisti.co.uk , it has alot of threads regarding lessons, advice etc. and links to an 'up-north' bikers forum. have a look!
    Target Savings by end 2009: 20,000
    current savings: 20,500 (target hit yippee!)
    Debts: 8000 (student loan so doesnt count)

    new target savings by Feb 2010: 30,000
